Summer Madness - Orkney

 

Well the Summer kicked off with a crazy gang of 25 Islanders! we had a great 5 days on the Island of Hoy -  ( where the famous Man of Hoy is....we only saw it from distance though.

thanks again to all the gang...From Stromness and Kirkwall Baptist churches! It was great to journey over the 5 days and not only get to know you all, but to see God turn up and challenge, encourage and stir our hearts!  A big shout out to my new most northerly friends!

I met Mat on this trip and he hadn't been around church all that much, it was great to see him loving the whole experience and take his first real steps towards following Jesus. Good on ya mate. 

I asked my good friend Dan Ferguson to come up with me to Orkney - Dans 16 and a budding muso and worship leader. Dan did a great job ! thanks Dan - hopefully the first of more adventures...I know you loved the road trip north.
